Operational Framework
By engaging with Ashburn Towing & Storage, LLC, you're agreeing to the operational protocols that govern our freight and logistics services. How do we ensure your cargo stays safe? Through rigorous adherence to these standards.
1. Service Definitions
We provide third-party logistics (3PL) including transport, forwarding, and warehouse management. Our role is that of a professional carrier and bailee under the laws governing the Commonwealth of Virginia. We don't just move boxes; we manage supply chain risks.
2. Liability & Insurance
While we take every precaution, our liability is limited to standard industry values unless additional protection is purchased. Clients are encouraged to verify their cargo insurance coverage before transit initiation. Damage claims must be filed within 14 business days of delivery.
3. Payment & Billing
Invoices are due upon receipt unless prior credit arrangements have been established. Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly fee. We value transparency; you'll never find hidden surcharges on our billing statements.
Warehousing Standards
Inventory stored within our facilities at 7 Douglas Ct remains the property of the client. Ashburn Towing & Storage, LLC maintains strict climate controls and 24/7 security monitoring. We're proud to say our loss ratios are among the lowest in the industry.
Transit times are estimates based on standard route conditions.
Force Majeure clauses apply to delays beyond our reasonable control.
Hazardous Materials
We're highly selective about cargo. Any hazmat shipments must be declared 48 hours in advance. Proper MSDS documentation is non-negotiable for the safety of our drivers and the public.
